Emerald Colosseum — a stock desk that never sleeps
Emerald Colosseum turns a market board into an arena. Twenty-eight tickers stand on a tilted elliptical floor, each one a glowing glass pillar whose height is its move: lime when the token trades above the real price, blue when it trades below. A dashed ring floats above the floor — the line — and any pillar that pierces it gets called.
One loop, six moves
- Tape → oracle → line → depth → call → night shift. The desk reads every pool, freezes the real price at the bell, flags the gaps that cross the line, sweeps the reserves with a depth scan, fixes the call and finally writes the receipt when the gap closes.
- The call card. Short the peel, long the real — both legs, both prices and the clock, then a receipt that sits next to every miss. Nothing is deleted.
- The KPI strip. Drift, hit, worst, median close, misses on board and reads per day, updating as the loop plays.
Built with Three.js and WebGL
Everything in the arena is rendered live with Three.js: the shader-drawn floor with its grid, tiers and scan sweep, the colonnade of light around the rim, the additive glass pillars with particle streams inside, and the ticker labels, which are real 3D sprites that ride on top of each pillar. Drag to orbit it 360°, hover a pillar to read its card, double-click to reset, and open the ⚙ panel to change the theme, speed, density, glow size, pillar depth and zoom.
The tickers, prices, calls and hit rates are an illustrative simulation — not market data, trading signals or financial advice.
