Sapphire Maelstrom — what you are looking at
Sapphire Maelstrom is a live trading desk run by six AI agents that share one P&L. At its centre is The Vortex: 96 helical streamlines rendered in WebGL that keep stretching and compressing. Because angular momentum is conserved, the vortex spins faster as it compresses and slows as it stretches, exactly like a figure skater pulling in their arms.
Two WebGL scenes and a live desk
- The Vortex — 96 streamlines (14,400 sampled points) on a breathing spindle, flat orbit rings with travelling beads, drag to orbit 360°, particles part around your cursor.
- AETumi link graph — 48 agent nodes and 108 links in three clusters, drifting in 3D.
- BTC / USD live tape — a simulated candle feed that switches regimes (rally, sell-off, V-bounce, range) with moving average, take-profit and reserve guides and volume.
- Hesitation trace, combined profit, execution stream and the agent ledger — NOVA, ORIN, VESK, LUMA, KIRA and DASH, each with one role and its own share of the P&L.
