Mnemosyne Engine — seven stages between a full store and eight lines
Storing everything is the cheap half of AI memory. Choosing the few lines worth a place in the context window is the expensive half. Mnemosyne Engine turns that choice into a single Three.js / WebGL scene: a violet memory store of 1,500 candidate memories on the left, a golden context gate of vertical bars in the middle and a smaller context-window wheel with eight slots on the right.
What you are watching
- Candidates in flight. Memories leave the store and fly to the gate. The ones scored above the cut are packed into a free slot and leave a golden bridge behind; the rest fall back into the store, and near-duplicates merge at the gate.
- Seven stages. Probe, fetcher, scorer, deduper, packer, evictor and auditor take turns, while the feed logs every line that made — or missed — the window.
- Four live panels. The AETumi window budget, six retrieval vitals, the ranked cut line and the scratch → session → resident → archive tier ladder.
Built to be touched
The scene stays still until you drag it: orbit it a full 360°, double-click to reset, and hover any flying candidate to read its line, score and fate. The ⚙ button switches between seven themes and tunes speed, density, glow size, depth and zoom — your choice is remembered.
All counts, scores and budgets are an illustrative simulation on a looping timeline, not a measurement of any real system.
